Hello there!
I'm a Software Engineer from Finland, more specifically Pirkanmaa region. I work as a consultant in a small-sized firm. My work and expertise mostly focuses on full-stack web development. Currently I have mainly been working with Go, Typescript, React/React Native and Angular. I have also done a fair amount of Python earlier. On my free time I have been exploring with other stuff as well, for example Rust and Sveltekit. A lot has happened in the web ecosystem in the past few years related to different rendering strategies. Therefore things like Next.js, Astro (which this site uses, yay!) and Remix are in my list as well.
For the past two years I have worked on a security research project. My main accomplishment has been building a fully-fledged test system for running large scale e2e load tests. This has required a lot of system design and both backend and frontend development. None of that was completely new to me, but this has definitely boosted my development skills. Before that I have worked on test automation for a few years. I also did a machine learning related MSc thesis which was definitely interesting as well.
Outside of programming I enjoy working out by mainly going to the gym but also doing some running. Also this season I really fell in love with skiing and can't wait to hit the slopes again. Some of my other interests include but are not limited to cars, coffee, music, movies/tv series and dogs. Other than that I like to spend time with my family and friends as well.
